Double glazed units are the glass which makes up the usual 3 parts of a double glazed window. They are the frame, the unit and the cill. They are often delivered separately and installed by your chosen tradesman. If you need replacement double glazing units because they are broken or you have condensation between the panes you can purchase them separately and just swap them in for the new ones.
There are now double glazed units which you can glaze into single glazing windows. All units should conform to BS EN 1279. If you are looking for the units to be installed, make sure you get a FENSA accredited installer.
